How the Embarrassed levels affect skill gain
The Embarrassed emotion has three levels based on the total weight of your Sim's active Embarrassed moodlets. At the base Embarrassed level, your Sim gets a ×0.8 multiplier to skill gain for social skills. These hidden multipliers multiply together with other active effects in the game.
When the total weight of Embarrassed moodlets reaches 4, your Sim becomes Very Embarrassed. This second level drops the social skill gain multiplier to ×0.6. If the total weight reaches 8, your Sim becomes Mortified, which reduces the social skill gain multiplier to ×0.4.
Ways to get or remove Embarrassed moodlets
Base game events can trigger this emotion on their own. The Peed Self moodlet adds a weight of 5 for 4 hours, which puts your Sim straight into Very Embarrassed. Caught with Another adds a weight of 4 for 23 hours, and Humiliating Demotion adds 4 for 8 hours. The Explore interaction can also give a base game moodlet named Embarrassed with a weight of 2 for 3 hours.
Other packs add stronger moodlets that reach the Mortified threshold of 8 by themselves. Lack of Talent from Romantic Garden Stuff adds a weight of 99 for 4 hours.
