How the Inspired emotion boosts creative skills
Inspired has two levels with hidden multipliers for skill gain. At the base Inspired level, your Sim gets a ×1.4 multiplier to creative skill gain. This multiplier combines with other active effects in the game.
Your Sim reaches the Very Inspired level when their total Inspired weight hits 8 or more. Very Inspired raises the creative skill gain multiplier to ×1.6. The game does not have a higher level for this emotion.
How to get or remove Inspired moodlets
You get Inspired by gaining moodlets with a high weight. In the base game, Burst of Inspiration gives a weight of 5 for 3 hours in Sim time. If you own Get Famous, the CelebuSerum Boost moodlet adds a weight of 100 for 3 hours.
Vampires includes Mysteriously Inspired, which gives a weight of 8 for 4 hours and triggers Very Inspired alone. Snowy Escape offers Post-Vacation Groove, adding a weight of 5 for 2 days. Life & Death has a moodlet with a weight of 4 that lasts 3 days.
To drop the Inspired mood, let the timers run out or stack heavier moodlets from another emotion. You can also remove a single moodlet in Live mode with the cheat console. Press Ctrl + Shift + C on PC, enter testingcheats true, and use the sims.remove_buff cheat.
