How the Fear of Fire trait changes gameplay

The Fear of Fire trait adds one specific moodlet to your Sim. This moodlet is called Looming Dread, and it pushes your Sim toward the Scared emotion with a weight of 2. The emotion with the highest total weight becomes your Sim's current mood. When active, Looming Dread lasts for 4 hours, which is 240 Sim minutes.

Beyond this single moodlet, the trait does not alter other numbers in the game. It has no hidden multipliers, no career pay bonuses, and no moodlet replacements. Also, 0 interactions in the game check if your Sim has the Fear of Fire trait.

Who gets the Fear of Fire trait

Only human Sims from the Teen to Elder age stages can have the Fear of Fire trait. It does not conflict with any other traits in the game.
