Fear of Eviction is a fear trait from For Rent, for Teen to Elder Sims. Its strongest own moodlet is Looming Anxiety (Tense +2, 4 hours). Cheat: traits.equip_trait trait_Fear_Eviction.

Fear of Eviction is a Fear trait in The Sims 4 from the For Rent pack. It applies to human Sims who are Teens, Young Adults, Adults, or Elders. A Sim can gain this trait when they use the Pay Bills or Pay Rent interactions.

This trait adds a single Tense moodlet to your Sim and has no hidden stat multipliers. You can add or remove it in Live mode using the cheat console.

What the Fear of Eviction trait changes

Fear of Eviction gives your Sim 1 unique moodlet called Looming Anxiety. This moodlet pulls your Sim toward the Tense emotion with a weight of 2. It lasts for 4 hours, which is 240 Sim minutes.

The trait does not include any always-on moodlets or moodlet replacements. It also has no hidden multipliers, career pay bonuses, or special interactions that check for it.

Who gets the trait and how

Only human Sims from the Teen to Elder age stages can have the Fear of Eviction trait. It conflicts with the Lazy trait, so a Lazy Sim cannot get it. In normal gameplay, the Pay Bills and Pay Rent interactions can give this fear to your Sim.

You can also manage this trait with cheats in Live mode. Open the cheat console with Ctrl + Shift + C on PC or Cmd + Shift + C on Mac. Type traits.equip_trait trait_Fear_Eviction to add it, or traits.remove_trait trait_Fear_Eviction to delete it.
