Lazy trait

Lazy Sims get two unique Happy moodlets. Lazy Nap adds a Happy weight of 2 for 4 hours, while Couch Potato adds a Happy weight of 1 with no timer. This trait also replaces the Comfy moodlet, increasing its Happy weight from 1 to 2, and blocks the Uncomfy and Sore Back moodlets entirely.

However, the Fatigued moodlet becomes Excruciatingly Fatigued, raising the Uncomfortable weight from 1 to 2. The 4-hour Grime Time moodlet changes into Too Many Chores, increasing the Tense weight from 1 to 2 with no timer. Also, the 4-hour Energetic Alignment moodlet changes from an Energized weight of 2 to a Tense weight of 1.

Several strong moodlets turn into a Fine moodlet with a weight of 1 instead. This happens to Focused Work Energy, Bored High Energy Boredom, and Tense moodlets like Jobless and Work Withdrawals. Uncomfortable feelings from Activity Withdrawal also turn into a Fine moodlet, and Lazy Sims can use the Nap interaction or argue about exercising and life goals.

This trait suits Sims who want to avoid Tense and Uncomfortable feelings from work or activity withdrawals. You cannot combine the Lazy trait with six other traits. It conflicts with Active, Adventurous, Ambitious, Competitive, Maker, and Neat.

You can pick the Lazy trait in Create a Sim when making or editing a household. No gameplay interactions grant this trait automatically during play.

You can also add or remove it in Live mode using the cheat console. Press Ctrl + Shift + C on PC or Cmd + Shift + C on Mac to open the box. Type traits.equip_trait trait_Lazy to add the trait, or traits.remove_trait trait_Lazy to remove it, without needing testing cheats enabled.
