The Sims 4 CAS cheat

The cheat is cas.fulleditmode. Type testingcheats true and then cas.fulleditmode in the cheat box. Next, shift-click a Sim and choose Modify in CAS. Now you can change everything in Create a Sim, traits too.

EA lists cas.fulleditmode on its official cheat page. The Sims Wiki says it works without testingcheats. But you need testingcheats for the shift-click menu, so type it first.

Open the box in Live mode, while you play a household. The console shift-click buttons come from the EA cheat page.

1. Save the game.
2. Open the cheat box in Live mode.
3. Type testingcheats true and press Enter.
4. Type cas.fulleditmode and press Enter. Close the box.
5. Shift-click the Sim and choose Modify in CAS.
6. Change what you want. Then click the check mark at the bottom right.

Guides say that full edit mode opens the traits, the aspiration, the name, the voice, and the walk style. You can also change the face, the body, the hair, and the clothes.

Without cas.fulleditmode, Modify in CAS works like a mirror or a dresser. You can change hair and clothes, but the traits stay locked. The Sims Wiki says you must type the cheat before you open CAS.

Some packs lock their clothes behind goals in the game. The cheat cas.unlockbytag with a pack code opens them. Destructoid says to type testingcheats true first, and to type the code while you are in CAS.

You must own the pack. The cheat does not give you items from packs that you do not have.

For a work uniform, type sims.modify_career_outfit_in_cas. It opens CAS for the career outfit only. Snootysims warns that some uniform parts do not show in CAS. If you remove one, you may not get it back.

The cheat bb.ignoregameplayunlocksentitlement is for Buy mode, not CAS. It unlocks the career reward objects.

Yes. Buy the Re-Traiting Potion in the Rewards Store for 5,000 Satisfaction Points. The Sim who drinks it can pick new traits. The potion works only for the Sim who bought it.

To get the points fast, read the Sims 4 satisfaction points cheat. You can also type traits.equip_trait or traits.remove_trait with the code name of a trait.

• Modify in CAS is not on the menu. Type testingcheats true first, then shift-click the Sim again.
• The traits are still locked. You opened CAS before you typed cas.fulleditmode. Leave CAS, type the cheat, and open it again.
• You made a typo. The code is cas.fulleditmode, with a dot and no spaces.
• The box does not open on a Mac. Try Command + Shift + C.
• An unlock code does nothing. Check that you own the pack and that you are in CAS.

On a console, EA says that cheats which need testingcheats true turn off Achievements and Trophies in that save. Your other saves keep them.
