UI Cheats Extension for The Sims 4

UI Cheats Extension by weerbesu lets you cheat by right-clicking needs, money, skills and careers. Get v1.59.1, install it, and fix common problems.

UI Cheats Extension is a free mod for The Sims 4 on PC. A modder called weerbesu makes it. It lets you cheat by clicking the game screen, so you do not type codes. For example, you right-click a need bar or the money counter and type a new value.

Download it only from weerbesu's Patreon page. You do not have to pay. The current version is v1.59.1, from August 27, 2026. It is built for game version 1.127.41. We checked the page on October 15, 2026.

Mods do not work on PlayStation or Xbox. For mods in general, read our guide to Sims 4 mods.

StepWhat to do
1Open the UI Cheats Extension post on weerbesu's Patreon. Download the zip file at the bottom. Its name is like UI_Cheats_Extension_v1.59.1.zip.
2Unzip it. You get two files: a package file and a script file.
3Put both files in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods. Put the script file no more than one subfolder deep.
4Start the game. Open Game Options, then Other. Turn on “Enable Custom Content and Mods” and “Script Mods Allowed.”
5Close the game and start it again.

If the install works, the package file shows under Custom Content and the script file shows under Script Mods. To check the version, right-click the notebook icon next to the phone icon. You can also type ui_cheats.mod_version in the cheat console in Live mode.

The Patreon post lists every cheat. These are the ones that most players use.

  • Needs: left-click a need bar to set it to that point. Right-click it to type a value from -100 to 100. Right-click the icon that opens the Needs panel to fill all needs.
  • Money: left-click the money counter to get §1,000. Right-click it to set the household funds.
  • Skills: right-click a skill bar to choose a level. Right-click the skill panel icon to add new skills.
  • Relationships: right-click a Sim in the Relationships panel to set friendship and romance from -100 to 100. You can also delete the relationship.
  • Career: right-click the job icon to promote, demote, retire, or change the branch. Right-click a daily task or a promotion task to complete it. Right-click the performance bar to set it.
  • Traits and age: right-click the green Traits title bar to add traits. Right-click a trait to remove it. Right-click the age bar to change the days at the current age.
  • Moodlets and wants: right-click a moodlet to remove it. Right-click a want to complete it.
  • Time and weather: right-click the clock to set the hour. Right-click the season or weather icon to change it.

Without the mod, you type codes for the same results. See our guides to money cheats, skill cheats, and career cheats.

Use weerbesu's Patreon page. The UI Cheats Extension post is free to view and to download. weerbesu keeps one post and changes the file and the title for each new version. The old changelog, from 2015 to 2023, is on uicheats.weerbesu.com.

Many other sites copy the name. Some have old versions, and we cannot check what their files contain. A script file runs code on your computer, so get it from the person who makes it.

If you play the Legacy Edition of the game, weerbesu links a separate version on Mod The Sims.

  1. Check the Patreon post. The changelog at the top says which game version each release is for.
  2. Delete the old package file and the old script file.
  3. Download the new zip, unzip it, and put the two new files in the same place.
  4. Start the game. Check that the two mod settings are still on. A game patch can turn them off.

Each version works only with the game version it is built for, or later ones that do not change the UI. weerbesu says that it will not work with older game versions. From February to August 2026, weerbesu posted eight versions, each for a new game version.

EA released a patch on September 22, 2026 (PC 1.128.90). When we checked, the Patreon post still had v1.59.1, built for 1.127.41. One player wrote in the comments that the mod broke after that patch. Check the post for a newer version.

  • Missing menus, broken panels, or frozen screens: weerbesu says the cause is always a mismatch between the game version and the mod version. Update the game and the mod.
  • A box opens, but nothing changes when you type a value: the package file works, but the script file does not. Move the script file to no more than one subfolder deep. Turn on “Script Mods Allowed.”
  • Two copies of the mod: keep only one copy in the Mods folder.
  • A conflict with an other UI mod: UI Cheats conflicts only with UI mods that change the same files. Script mods and tuning mods do not conflict with it. With a conflict, the game uses the first mod and ignores the second one.

To find which mod causes a problem, many players use Better Exceptions by TwistedMexi. It names the broken file for you. For other useful mods, read the best Sims 4 mods.

UI Cheats is for players who want full control of their Sims. LifeSim is a free life sim in your browser set on a real map of Earth, where people talk back in your own words. It has no mods. It is a different kind of game, not a replacement for The Sims 4. Read about MC Command Center or more on life simulators.

Is UI Cheats Extension free?

Yes. The Patreon post is public, and you do not have to pledge.

How do I check which version I have?

Right-click the notebook icon next to the phone icon in Live mode. Or type ui_cheats.mod_version in the cheat console.

Can I use UI Cheats on PlayStation or Xbox?

No. The console versions do not load mods. Use the normal Sims 4 cheats instead.

Does UI Cheats work with MCCC?

Yes. MCCC is a script mod. UI Cheats conflicts only with other UI mods.
