What are the right answers to the Simfluencer chance cards in The Sims 4?
Sims 4 Simfluencer chance cards: every answer
The Simfluencer career has 4 chance cards. Here is every card, each choice, and what it can lead to, with its odds and its effect on job performance, from the game files. On 1 of them, one choice is best for job performance.
Chase The Clout
Oh my gosh! No way! TitaniaChroma, a famous make-up Simfluencer, is reaching out to your Sim to do a collab! This is a great opportunity and could really put your Sim's name on the map. On the other hand, your Sim might want to try and make it on his/her own without anyone's help. Does he/she do the collab and gain the clout? Or does he/she take a chance and try to make it on his/her own?
Team Up
- 50%: The chemistry between the two is awkward and strained. The video goes viral... but in the worst way possible, highlighting all of your Sim's mistakes. His/Her flub hurts not just his/her reputation but also his/her bank account. (no job performance change)
- 50%: The collab is a hit! Now, more and more people will know who your Sim is! Wow! Look at all of these viewers! YAY! (job performance +7)
Go Solo
- 50%: TitaniaChroma didn't appreciate the rejection and makes a video calling your Sim out. TitaniaChroma's followers have now made your Sim their enemy and his/her comments are filled with negativity and claims that your Sim isn't even his/her real name. (moodlet: Cursed Conclusion)
- 50%: Your Sim got a sudden surge of followers! The comments are saying how they respect his/her drive and dedication to making it on his/her own merit. Hard work really does pay off! (job performance +7)
Big Money, Big Prizes
This is it! The opportunity your Sim has been waiting for! A company just reached out to him/her about a sponsorship and has asked him/her to do a stream to advertise their product! This could be big money. Your Sim has never heard of the product and the company is pushing for him/her to give a positive review. Will he/she accept the contract and take the risk of promoting an unknown product? Or will he/she decline and give an honest review?
Sign The Contract
- 50%: Oh no! Your Sim now knows that he/she has to be careful on who he/she picks for sponsors. The product is sub-par and his/her followers call him/her out on the lack of honesty. Your Sim's lack of integrity has resulted in his/her videos being demonetized. (moodlet: Demonetized!)
- 50%: Wow! The product the sponsors sent your Sim was amazing! Your Sim got the sponsorship money, the product for free, and most importantly, was able to give an honest review of the product! (no job performance change)
Decline The Offer
- 50%: As the saying goes, "You win some, you lose some". Your Sim is proud to stick to his/her morals and knows more opportunities will come. It is a small price to pay in the grand scheme of things. (no job performance change)
- 50%: Your Sim's followers praise his/her honesty and are donating in droves in response! his/her fanbase's love and support shine through the comments: "This is why we follow you!" "your Sim would never sell out!" "This is why we know we can trust you!" (no job performance change)
New And Improved!
No way! More Views Video Station just came out with a new beta software program for video editing! It promises to make video editing a lot easier and faster than ever before! Maybe it is time to give this new program a shot and see if it is better than the program your Sim is using now!
Best for job performance: Get The Update.
Get The Update
- 50%: Your Sim spent so much time trying to get the program to work that he/she didn't have time to polish the video. He/She should have stuck with the program that was more reliable. (job performance −10)
- 50%: This is still in beta? This is AMAZING! Everything about this program is better. Easy and fast video editing. No crashes or hang-ups. Your Sim's video quality and content improved leaps and bounds! (job performance +15)
Stick With Old Software
- 50%: Your Sim decides to stick with the current version instead of updating to the new beta program. Unfortunately, the other Simfluencers that did switch are putting out better quality videos and much faster than your Sim can with the old software. Due to your Sim's stubbornness, he/she ran into more problems than usual with the current program and just couldn't get any content out at all. (job performance −40; moodlet: Work Annoyance)
- 50%: Why fix what is not broken? Your Sim stuck with his/her ideals when that new beta version of the software came out. Clearly, never trust anything that is in beta. It simply means "Incomplete!". Your Sim made the right call and was able to keep making good content at the same rate that resulted in a steady increase of Simoleons! (no job performance change)
Big Break
A well-known company wants to give your Sim exclusive rights to make a video reviewing their product before anyone else! No other Simfluencers will be allowed to create content about this product until after your Sim's content is released. This could be a perfect opportunity to put out content before his/her fellow Simfluencers, but others may view this as the company playing favorites. Does your Sim take the opportunity and review the product early? Or decide to wait until other Simfluencers can post as well to avoid controversy?
Review
- 50%: Your Sim takes the opportunity but fails to put out a quality video. Viewers didn't know whether the product was good, bad, or even lukewarm due to your Sim's poor performance. The comments were loud and clear when they expressed disappointment in his/her review. Your Sim's performance and pride both suffer from the bad experience. (job performance −40; moodlet: Work Annoyance)
- 50%: Luckily, the other Simfluencers are happy for your Sim and understand the choice to take the opportunity. The controversy is avoided and the company is ecstatic with the amount of marketing your Sim provided. Looks like another exclusive deal with the company may be on the horizon for your Sim. (moodlet: Prime Product Piece)
Don't Review
- 50%: The company is not pleased with your Sim's rejection and decides to go with another Simfluencer. The successful video of the other Simfluencer makes it hard for your Sim's review to compete. Your Sim wonders what would have happened if he/she would have taken the opportunity and released his/her early. (job performance −10)
- 50%: Your Sim will wait to review until all Simfluencers have a chance to do so. The other Simfluencers caught wind of the chivalrous act and sent some extra donations his/her way. Your Sim earned more than just a few Simoleons. He/She earned respect and new friends. (no job performance change)
The odds are the game's: each result of a choice has the same weight unless a skill or trait test changes it, as noted. The effect in brackets is what the result's loot does. "Best for job performance" is the choice with the highest expected change, shown only when every chance on the card is known.
