Does Paralives have cheats?
Yes. Paralives has a console with text commands. You open it in Live Mode, type a command, and press Enter. The commands add money, set skills, fill needs, and change time.
Paralives is in Early Access. The commands can change in a patch. Type HELP in the console to see the current list before you trust any list in a post, including this one.
We opened the sources for this post on October 10, 2026. The command list comes from one guide, KeenGamer, dated May 25, 2026. We did not check each command in the game. We say so again at the end. You read this on the LifeSim blog, and we say where LifeSim does not fit.
How do you open the cheat console in Paralives?
Open a save in Live Mode. Then press the key combination for your computer.
On Windows
Press Ctrl + Shift + C or Ctrl + F1. The console opens.
On Mac
Press Command + Fn (or Globe) + F1.
How to type a command
- Open the console.
- Type the command.
- Press Enter.
The commands are not case-sensitive. PIGGYBANK and piggybank do the same thing. Some commands need a value after the name. For example, you type SETMONEY and then a number.
Most commands for one Para act on the selected Para. Select the right Para before you type. KeenGamer gives this advice for the commands on characters, careers, and pregnancy.
What are the Paralives money cheats?
The money in Paralives is the Paradime. These commands change the funds of the household.

PRINTMONEY adds to your funds. SETMONEY replaces them. If you type SETMONEY 100 with 5,000 in the bank, the household has 100 after the command.
How to clear the bills
CLEARBILLS clears the bills of the household. CLEARSELECTEDCHARACTERSBILLS clears the bills of the selected Para only. PRINTHOUSEHOLDFUNDS shows the balances, and GENERATEBILL sends a new bank statement to the mailbox.
How to cause or fix a utility outage
CAUSEOUTAGE causes an outage on the lot. FIXOUTAGE fixes it.
How do you max skills and needs in Paralives?
The maximum skill level is 20. These commands change skills and needs.
Skills
- SHOWSKILLS shows the skill levels of the selected Para.
- LEVELUPSKILL [skill] adds one level to a skill.
- SETSKILLLEVEL [skill] [level] sets a skill to the level that you type.
Use the skill name that SHOWSKILLS prints. KeenGamer warns that some skill IDs in Early Access may not work in full. If a skill name fails, type SHOWSKILLS again and copy the name exactly.
Needs
- SHOWNEEDS shows the need values.
- SETNEED [need] [value] sets a need.
- CHANGENEED [need] [value] raises a need by the value.
- DECAYNEED [need] [value] lowers a need by the value.
- RELIEFNEED [need] fills one need to the maximum.
- RELIEFALLNEEDS fills all needs of the selected Para.
- RELIEFALLNEEDSOFALLCHARACTERS fills the needs of every Para.
What other Paralives cheats are there?
The list is long. These are the groups that players ask about most.
Time
ADVANCEHOUR moves time forward one hour. ADVANCEDAY moves it forward 24 hours. SETHOUR [hour] sets the time of day.
Careers
ENDWORKDAY finishes the workday and pays the salary or the upgrade points. UPGRADEOCCUPATIONS unlocks upgrades. PRINTALLOCCUPATIONS lists the careers of the Para. ADDVACATIONDAY adds a vacation day, and CLEARSTRIKES removes strikes.
Life stages and Paramaker
EDITCHARACTER opens Paramaker. SETAGE [number] sets the age. NEXTLIFESTAGE and PREVIOUSLIFESTAGE move a Para forward or back one life stage. KILLCHARACTER kills the selected Para, and REVIVEALLSELECTEDCHARACTERS brings the selected Paras back.
Relationships
SHOWCHARACTERRELATIONSHIPS shows the relationships. BECOMEACQUAINTANCEWITHEVERYONE adds the Acquaintance label between your Para and every Para in town. REMOVESTRANGERRELATIONSHIPS removes all stranger labels.
Pregnancy
GETPREGNANT [number] makes the selected Para pregnant. The number is optional and sets the number of babies. GIVEBIRTH starts the birth. PREGNANTSTATUS shows the details.
Items
SPAWNALLITEMS spawns all items. ADDITEMTOINVENTORY [item ID] adds one item to the inventory. SHOWITEMINFOS shows the ID of the selected Build Mode object. REPAIRALLITEMS repairs the broken items, and UNSPOILALLITEMS removes the food spoilage.
Fire
EXTINGUISHALLFIRES puts out all fires. SETITEMONFIRE and SETSELECTEDCHARACTERSONFIRE start one.

Do Paralives cheats break your save?
They can. KeenGamer gives four warnings.
- The commands may change between patches, because the game is in Early Access.
- Take care with commands that remove Paras, create characters, or reset systems.
- The commands that edit the town or spawn items are more experimental.
- Select the correct Para before you use a command on a character.
How to back up the save first
The console has a ZIPSAVEFILE command. KeenGamer says that it zips the save file to the desktop. Run it before you try an experimental command. SAVE saves the game at that moment.
What to do when a Para is stuck
UNSTUCK moves the selected Para to a valid position. UNSTUCKALL does the same for all Paras. Use these before you load an old save.
Can you use mods instead of cheats in Paralives?
Yes, in part. The Steam page says that Paralives has an in-game modding interface and Steam Workshop support for community mods, houses, and Parafolks. The page tags the game as Moddable.

The Steam page does not mention cheats. The Paralives site does not mention them. We found the console commands only in the press. That is why we say to check HELP in the game.
Where do cheats not fit?
A cheat removes a limit. In a game about building a house, that is often what the player needs. You build a large house, and you do not wish to earn the money for it first.
In LifeSim, the limits are the game. You live one life in one city. The people around you remember what you do. A command that removes the effect of an act also removes the reason to play.
