Is Paralives on PS5, Xbox, or Switch?

No. Paralives is on PC and Mac, on Steam. The developers say: “There are no plans for console versions at the moment.” They also say that they consider console versions for the future.

So a console player has no date to wait for. This post lists what the developers say, what the press adds, and what you can play on a console today.

We opened each source on October 9, 2026. We say which statements come from the developers and which come from the press. You read this on the LifeSim blog. We make a browser life sim, and we say where our game does not fit.

The Paralives FAQ answers four platform questions. We quote it.

• Consoles: “There are no plans for console versions at the moment.” The page adds that console versions are a future option.
• Mac: the game is “available for purchase on Steam for PC and Mac in Early Access.”
• Phone and tablet: “Paralives will not have a phone or tablet version.”
• Price: the game is sold at a discount in Early Access, and the price rises as the team adds content, until full release.

The FAQ does not mention Linux or Steam Deck. The Steam page lists system requirements for Windows and macOS only. For the handheld question, read Paralives on Steam Deck.

The developers do not give a long reason on the pages that we opened. The press gives reasons. We name the source of each one.

What Nerdschalk reports

Nerdschalk updated its page on May 26, 2026. It says the following.

• The studio is small and relies mainly on Patreon funding.
• The team focuses on a PC-only Early Access for about two years.
• A console port depends on PC sales and on money for the port.
• The team would like to explore consoles “later down the line”, with more time and resources.

Nerdschalk lists the PS5, the Xbox Series X/S, and the Nintendo Switch 2 as “No release planned.” We did not find these exact words on the Paralives pages. Treat the list as the view of the press.

What the Steam page says about time

The Steam page says that Early Access will last “About two years”, while the team adds the features and content for version 1.0. It says that the price will rise during Early Access, and that all future updates are free, with no paid DLC. Read does Paralives have DLC for the DLC question.

We found no date and no promise. The earliest sensible time is after Early Access. That is our reading of the two-year plan on the Steam page. The developers have not said it.

The Early Access launch date is May 25, 2026, on the Steam page. A two-year period ends in 2028. The developers also say that the period depends on the features and the content that they want to add. The date can change. It has changed before: the development page quotes a June 2025 post that gave an Early Access date of December 8, 2025.

The development page says that the team works on a “first major update to be released at the end of 2026”. We found no console item in that plan. The news page names Steam as the only store. For the full dates, read Paralives release date.

The sources that we opened name these facts for the Early Access game.

• The Steam page lists a base price of $39.99 and a discount on the day that we read it. Prices change, so check the page.
• The Windows minimum is Windows 10, an Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen 5, 12 GB RAM, and a GTX 1060 or RX 6600 XT.
• The Mac minimum is an Apple M2 chip, macOS Big Sur 11 or newer, and 12 GB RAM.
• The news page lists “Patch Notes 0.1.5”. It says that save files can sync on Steam Cloud, so you can continue on a different computer.
• The Steam Workshop is part of the game. The news page shows builds from the Steam Workshop and a fix for a Workshop button.

We found no source that links the Workshop to the console decision. For mods, read Paralives mods.

The Sims 4

The EA FAQ says that The Sims 4 is playable on PC, Mac, Xbox, and PlayStation. The console version has most of the same features. See The Sims 4 on console vs PC for the differences.

We found no Switch plan. Nerdschalk says that no Switch release is planned.

Is Paralives on mobile?

No. The FAQ says that Paralives will not have a phone or tablet version.

Is Paralives on Mac?

Yes. The game is on Steam for PC and Mac in Early Access.

Can I play Paralives with a cloud service?

We found no cloud gaming plan from the developers. Check the Steam page for the current list of platforms.

We opened the Paralives FAQ, the Steam page, the development page, the news page, and two articles on October 9, 2026. The statement on consoles comes from the FAQ. The reasons come from Nerdschalk.

We did not check these points.

• The Patreon and Discord posts of the team. They may have newer words on consoles.
• The public roadmap on Notion. The development page links to it. We did not open it.
• Primagames, GameWatcher, and other press pages. They did not open for us, so we use none of their claims.

The plan can change in any month. The Steam page and the FAQ are the sources to read first. This post will show an updated date when we check them again.
