Is inZOI on Mac?
Yes. inZOI runs on Mac. The Steam page lists Windows and macOS. Wikipedia lists the macOS release as August 20, 2025. The Windows version came first, on March 28, 2025.
The game costs $39.99 on Steam. Macworld says the price was $39.99 on the Mac App Store and on Steam when it wrote its review. The game is still in Early Access, and the Steam page says the price is discounted during this period.
A Mac needs an Apple chip. An Intel Mac does not meet the listed minimum. The sections below give the exact needs and what to expect.
What Mac do you need for inZOI?
The Steam page lists an Apple M1 chip as the minimum and an Apple M3 chip as the recommended chip. Both levels need 16 GB of RAM and macOS Sequoia 15.0.

Macworld lists different numbers. It says Krafton asks for macOS Sonoma or later and an M2 chip. It also says an M2 Pro or an M3 Pro is better for the highest detail and for large worlds. The review is from October 2025. The Steam page is the newer source, so we use the Steam numbers. Check the Steam page again before you buy.

How well does inZOI run on a Mac?
It runs well on a newer Mac with a Pro chip. It runs with limits on a MacBook Air. This is what Macworld found in its review.
MacBook Pro with M2 or M3
Macworld says the game runs largely smoothly at 1080p or 1440p on high to very high settings. It gives a range of 60 to 90 frames each second. The range depends on the settings and on the number of objects in the scene.
MacBook Air with M2
Macworld says the Air needs lower detail settings. It says the game is still playable, unless the household is very large.
Weaker Macs
Macworld says graphics and performance are limited on weaker Macs. Macworld also lists minor bugs, some crashes after big patches, and translation errors. The reviewer says menus and tutorials can confuse new players.
One review is one measurement. Your result depends on your Mac, your settings, and the patch you run. The game receives patches, and the review is a year old.
Is the Mac version the same as the Windows version?
Almost. Macworld found no difference in the AI logic, the events, or the core play between Mac and PC.
One difference matters for the AI. NVIDIA says the on-device model of the Smart Zoi setting runs on GeForce RTX graphics cards only. We found no source that says the Smart Zoi setting exists on a Mac. Read what Smart Zoi is for the details.

Can you play inZOI on an Intel Mac?
No source says that you can. The Steam page lists Apple M1 as the lowest chip. An Intel Mac has no Apple chip. It does not meet the listed minimum.
Do not buy the game for an Intel Mac. Steam offers refunds under its own rules, but check the rules of Steam before you rely on them.
Open the Apple menu and choose About This Mac to see your chip. An Intel Mac shows the name of an Intel processor. A newer Mac shows a name such as Apple M2.
Where do you buy inZOI for Mac?
Macworld names two stores: the Mac App Store and Steam. The Steam page lists the same game for both systems. Steam also offers Steam Cloud and Family Sharing for the game.
Pick one store and stay with it. Buy the game on Steam if you also play on Windows. Steam Cloud keeps your saves in one place. We did not test the cloud saves between the two systems, so check the Steam page for the current support.
What if your Mac is too weak for inZOI?
