Is inZOI on Xbox?

No. inZOI is not on Xbox. In the sources we opened, the developers have not confirmed an Xbox version.

The game is on PC and Mac through Steam. A PS5 version is planned. The developers said that an Xbox version is under consideration. That is not a promise.

This guide shows what the developers said, what the news sites add, and what you can play on Xbox today.

On 13 August 2025, the inZOI team announced the PS5 version. SimsCommunity printed the statement. It says that inZOI is scheduled to launch on PlayStation 5 in 2026. It adds: “An Xbox release is also under consideration, but has not yet been confirmed.”

The statement also says that the team will share the release date and more details at a later time. It gives no date for Xbox.

Pure Xbox reports an earlier line. In March 2025, the developers said that the game was expected to come to consoles like PS5 and Xbox. That line was broader. The August 2025 statement is narrower. It names one console with a year, and the other console with a doubt.

Pure Xbox lists the Xbox Series X and S release date as to be announced. The Pure Xbox article is from August 2025. Its author guesses about the reason for the delay. That is an opinion, not a statement from the developers.

TheSimsTree wrote about the plan of the game director, Hyungjun “Kjun” Kim, for the second year of early access. We read it for this guide.

The article says three things about consoles:

• A PS5 version is in development. It is one of the main tasks of the team.
• The PS5 release will likely come with the 1.0 release.
• No plans for Xbox Series X and S have been announced.

The article says that the full 1.0 release is planned for early 2027. So the PS5 version is, in this reading, an early 2027 event. Xbox has no place in the plan that the article describes.

“Likely” is the word of the article, not a promise of the developers. Plans in early access move. Check the official channels before you decide. For the PS5 details, read the inZOI PS5 release date.

Steam lists inZOI for Windows and macOS. The price is $39.99. The game is in Early Access, and the developers say that the price is a discount for early access.

The Windows minimum is a computer with 12 GB of RAM and an NVIDIA RTX 2060 with 6 GB of video memory. The Mac version needs an Apple M1 or M3 chip, 16 GB of memory, and macOS Sequoia 15.0. These numbers come from the Steam page, and the page can change.

Pure Xbox says that the Steam reviews were Very Positive at launch and have dropped to Mostly Positive. Steam now shows English reviews as Mostly Positive, with 79 percent positive. Recent reviews are Very Positive.

We found no Game Pass listing for inZOI. The Pure Xbox article does not mention Game Pass. The Steam page does not mention it either.

Do not trust a site that says that inZOI is “free on Xbox”. If the game is not on the Xbox store, no site can sell it to you for that console. A listing that claims otherwise is a trick or a mistake.

Does a PC Xbox app help? The sources do not list a Microsoft Store version. The only store they name is Steam. So use Steam.

The Sims 4

EA says that The Sims 4 is playable on PC, Mac, Xbox, and PlayStation. The console version has limits. The Gallery, mods, custom content, and social events such as challenges are not on console. EA also says that nearly every PC cheat works on console.

Saves and creations stay with the platform where you made them. Content that you buy on one platform does not transfer to another. Read The Sims 4 on console and on PC for the full list.

Paralives

Paralives is not on Xbox. The FAQ of the developers says that no console versions are planned right now. It adds that the developers consider consoles for the future. Read Paralives on consoles.

LifeSim

LifeSim is a web game. It opens in a browser, and it has no in-app purchases. We did not test it on an Xbox. If you want a life sim app on your Xbox, LifeSim is not the answer.

It depends on one fact: do you own a computer that can run it?

• If your PC meets the minimum, you can play today. Read the reviews first.
• If you own only an Xbox, you cannot play. Do not buy a PC for inZOI alone.
• If you own a PS5, the PS5 version is the plan to follow. It may come in 2027.

Early access means that the game is not finished. TheSimsTree says that the director calls the current version “a bit unstable” and that technical issues led to “a few hundred thousand refunds”. Read the refund rules of the store before you buy.

The developers gave no reason. Pure Xbox offers a guess, and the author says it is a guess. We do not repeat it as a fact.

One fact helps. TheSimsTree says that the game sold more than 1.5 million copies in the first year of early access. That is about three times the number that the team expected. The same article says that the team has a long list of work. The list includes the career system, the school system, karma, prisons, vehicles, and stable performance on every target platform.

A console port is a large task. The director says that the current version is “a bit unstable”. A team in that position has to choose. The PS5 version comes first in every source that we read.

Do not read more into this than the sources say. A plan for one console does not rule out a later plan for another. Also, a plan for Xbox does not exist yet.

Is inZOI coming to Xbox Series X and S?

Not confirmed. The developers said that an Xbox release is under consideration.

Is inZOI on PS5?

Not yet. The developers announced a PS5 version for 2026, with no date at that time. A news article says that it will likely come with the 1.0 release.

Is inZOI on Xbox One?

We found no mention of Xbox One in any source. Treat it as not planned.

Can you play inZOI on Xbox with cloud gaming?

We found no source that says so. We cannot confirm it.

Does inZOI have cross-play?

TheSimsTree says that the plans include optional multiplayer, in phases. We found no cross-play plan. Read does inZOI have multiplayer.
