Daily schedule and pay growth
You begin at level 1 working 30 hours per week across daytime shifts. At level 2, your schedule moves to night shifts starting at 21:00 for 40 hours per week. Levels 3 and 4 return to morning hours and pay up to 2,600 Simoleons weekly.
As you advance, your hourly rate increases and your work week eventually gets shorter. By level 10 in either branch, you only work 24 hours per week across four days. Your Paid Time Off rate also grows from 0.2 days earned per shift to 0.3333 days at the top.
Specific traits and university degrees add a bonus percentage to your hourly pay. Biology and Psychology degrees increase your pay the most. An honors BS degree in either subject adds 41 percent, and a standard BS adds 39 percent. An honors BA adds 36 percent, while a standard BA adds 32 percent.
Mortician versus Funeral Director branch pay
At level 5, the Mortician branch starts higher at 3,360 Simoleons per week, while Funeral Director starts at 2,660 Simoleons. However, the Funeral Director branch overtakes the Mortician branch starting at level 6, paying 5,040 Simoleons per week.
Funeral Director is the highest paying branch overall. At level 10, a Funeral Director makes 440 Simoleons per hour, which equals 10,560 Simoleons per week. A level 10 Mortician makes 435 Simoleons per hour, or 10,440 Simoleons per week.
Both branches have similar hours at the top, requiring six-hour shifts four days a week. Pick Funeral Director if you want the highest weekly income and a later 11:00 start time at level 10. Pick Mortician if you prefer higher pay at levels 5 and 8, or a 09:00 start time at level 10.
Faster promotions and Undertaker career cheats
When your work performance gets close to the promotion line, you have a 1 percent base chance for an early promotion. The Entrepreneurial trait multiplies this chance by 10, and the Growth Mindset moodlet multiplies it by 5. If your performance drops to the demotion line, the Professional Slacker trait reduces the 100 percent demotion chance to 0.
