What the Bookworm trait changes in play

The trait gives 1 own moodlet called Intriguing Book. This moodlet adds +2 to the Inspired emotion and lasts for 4 hours, which is 240 Sim minutes. The trait does not add hidden multipliers or career pay bonuses.

Bookworm also replaces several usual moodlets. When a Sim would get High Energy Boredom, Activity Withdrawal, or Extreme Activity Withdrawal, they get a Fine moodlet with a weight of 1 instead. If they would get the Energized moodlet called Energetic Alignment, they receive a Tense moodlet with a weight of 1 for 4 hours.

Who Bookworm suits and how to get it

Bookworm suits human Sims who want a source of the Inspired emotion and access to 3 specific interactions. Because it replaces Activity Withdrawal and High Energy Boredom with Fine moodlets, it helps avoid those Uncomfortable and Bored feelings. It does not conflict with other traits.

You can pick the trait in Create a Sim for a Child, Teen, Young Adult, Adult, or Elder. No interactions give this trait during gameplay.

To add it in Live mode, open the cheat console with Ctrl + Shift + C on PC or Cmd + Shift + C on Mac. Type traits.equip_trait trait_Bookworm and press Enter. To remove it, enter traits.remove_trait trait_Bookworm. These cheats do not need testingcheats true.
