How the Clingy trait changes moodlets

Most Toddlers get Angry moodlets when they are hungry or tired. A Clingy Toddler gets Sad moodlets instead. The Hangry moodlet becomes the Hungry moodlet, and it pulls toward Sad with a weight of 1.

The Tired moodlet also switches from Angry to Sad with a weight of 1. For severe need failures, Exhausted and Ravenous stay named the same, but give a Sad weight of 3 instead of Angry. These moodlets have no timer and last until you fix the cause.

This trait also adds 1 unique moodlet called Where's the Love?. It gives a Sad weight of 1 with no timer. The trait does not have any hidden skill multipliers, career bonuses, or special interactions that check for it.

Who gets the Clingy trait and cheats

This trait suits players who prefer dealing with Sad Toddlers instead of Angry ones. Only human Sims in the Toddler age stage can have the Clingy trait. The game files list no conflicting traits for it.

You can pick the trait in Create a Sim, or use a cheat in Live mode. Open the cheat console by pressing Ctrl + Shift + C on PC, or Cmd + Shift + C on Mac. You do not need to turn on testing cheats first.

Type traits.equip_trait trait_Toddler_Clingy to add the trait to your active Toddler. Type traits.remove_trait trait_Toddler_Clingy to take it away.
