How the Evil trait changes moodlets and actions
This trait replaces two standard moodlets with different ones. Instead of a 4 hours Happy moodlet from Inspiring Story, your Sim gets an Uncomfortable moodlet for 2 hours. When making an enemy, the usual 4 hours Angry moodlet becomes a Happy moodlet for 6 hours.
Your Sim also gets the Near Misery moodlet, which adds a Happy weight of 1. This moodlet has no timer, meaning it lasts while its cause lasts. The trait does not add any hidden skill multipliers or career pay bonuses.
In the game, 17 interactions check for the Evil trait. Examples include Discuss Evil Plans, Smash, Stomp On, and Argue about Morals. Your Sim can also use Troll teh Forums or Destroy Sand Sculpture.
Who gets the Evil trait and how
Only human Sims can have the Evil trait. It is available to Child, Teen, Young Adult, Adult, and Elder Sims. You cannot pick it if your Sim already has the Good, Childish, or Generous traits.
You can select the trait directly in Create a Sim. Some in-game interactions, namely Cloning and Make Real, can also give the Evil trait to a Sim.
You can also add or remove it in Live mode using the cheat console. Press Ctrl + Shift + C on PC or Cmd + Shift + C on Mac to open the box. Type traits.equip_trait trait_Evil to add it, or traits.remove_trait trait_Evil to remove it, without needing testingcheats.
