Energetic is a horse personality trait from the Horse Ranch pack in The Sims 4. It is available for Child, Adult, and Elder horses. You can select it in Create a Sim or add it with a cheat.

This trait changes how fast your horse learns specific skills. It speeds up physical skill gains, while slowing down Temperament skill gain. It does not add any moodlets or special interactions.

The Energetic trait alters skill gain multipliers for horses. Your horse builds the Agility, Jumping, and Endurance skills with a 1.125 multiplier. However, it builds the Temperament skill slower, using a 0.75 multiplier.

These numbers are hidden multipliers. They multiply together with any other active skill effects your horse has. This trait does not give any own moodlets, replacement moodlets, or always-on moodlets.

The game has 0 interactions that check for the Energetic trait. Your horse gets faster physical training without extra mood swings.

Who it suits, conflicts, and how to get it

This trait suits horses that train in Agility, Jumping, or Endurance. It is available to Child, Adult, and Elder horses. It conflicts with the Mellow trait, so a horse cannot have both at the same time.

You can pick the Energetic trait in Create a Sim when making a horse. No in-game interactions award this trait during play. You can also add or remove it in Live mode using the cheat console.
