Frisky is a personality trait for cats in The Sims 4 Cats & Dogs expansion pack. It alters how a cat manages its daily Energy and Play needs.

You can select this trait in Create a Sim for cats at the Infant, Child, Young Adult, Adult, and Elder ages. You can also add or remove it during Live mode with a cheat.

How the Frisky trait changes cat needs

The Frisky trait changes two hidden need multipliers for your cat. First, a Frisky cat's Energy need never drains. Second, its Play need drains ×2 as fast as usual. These hidden multipliers multiply together with other effects your pet has.

This trait does not add any moodlets or replace existing ones. It also does not unlock any special interactions, as 0 interactions check for it in the game files.

Who Frisky suits, conflicts, and cheats

This trait is only for cats. It suits households that want an active pet that needs frequent playtime. Because Frisky is an active personality trait, it conflicts with the Lazy trait. You cannot give a cat both Frisky and Lazy at the same time.

You can pick the Frisky trait in Create a Sim when you make or edit a cat. If you want to change traits in Live mode, open the cheat console. Press Ctrl + Shift + C on PC, or Cmd + Shift + C on Mac.

Type traits.equip_trait trait_Pet_Active_Cat to add the trait, or traits.remove_trait trait_Pet_Active_Cat to remove it. You do not need to enter testingcheats true first.
