Defiant is a personality trait for horses in The Sims 4. It comes with the Horse Ranch pack. You can give it to child, adult, and elder horses.

This trait makes training harder for your horse. It lowers the gain rate for Temperament, Agility, Jumping, and Endurance skills by a ×0.875 multiplier. You can pick it in Create a Sim or add it with a cheat.

This trait does not add any moodlets or replace existing ones. It also does not unlock or block any interactions, as 0 interactions check for it.

Who gets the Defiant trait and how

Only horses can have the Defiant trait. It is available for the Child, Adult, and Elder age stages. It does not conflict with any other traits, so you can pair it freely.

You can select this trait in Create a Sim when making a horse. You can also add or remove it in Live mode using the cheat console. Open the console with Ctrl + Shift + C on PC, or Cmd + Shift + C on Mac.
