How the Geek trait changes moodlets and play

The Geek trait gives your Sim 3 unique moodlets, each with a weight of 1. The Collectible Acquired moodlet makes your Sim feel Confident for 4 hours, or 240 Sim minutes. The Science Nonfiction moodlet gives an Inspired feeling with no timer, while Need Video Games makes your Sim Tense.

This trait also protects your Sim from negative feelings through moodlet replacements. It completely blocks the Bored moodlet called Gamed-Out. It also swaps Tense moodlets like Technophobe Exhaustion and Melting My Brain with Fine moodlets of weight 1.

The trait does not add hidden effect multipliers or career pay bonuses. Instead, its main benefits come from moodlet replacements, custom moodlets, and 5 interactions. These interactions include Debate Best Captains, Describe Robot Invasion, Enthuse about New Show, Ask For Capsule, and Troll teh Forums.
