How the Music Lover trait affects gameplay

This trait gives your Sim 3 unique moodlets. Inspired by the Music adds a weight of 2 to the Inspired emotion with no timer. Made of Music adds a weight of 1 to the Happy emotion while its cause lasts. When The Music Is Over gives a Tense moodlet with a weight of 1 for 2 hours.

Your Sim also gets stronger versions of standard music moodlets. Instead of Cool Key Chords, Rockin' Riffs, or Soothing Strings, they get Killer Key Chords, Righteous Riffs, or Scintillating Strings. These replacement moodlets have no timer and increase the Happy weight from 1 to 2.

The trait does not include hidden skill multipliers or career pay bonuses. However, 4 interactions check for the Music Lover trait in their tests. These are Discuss Favorite Band, Enthuse about New Albums, Listen Deeply, and Mock Music Taste.
