Moodlet replacements and effects of Self-Assured
This trait replaces the usual Chess Victor moodlet with the Chess Champion moodlet. Both moodlets make your Sim Confident for 4 hours, which is 240 Sim minutes. However, the replacement increases the moodlet weight from 1 to 2, pulling your Sim harder toward the Confident emotion.
Beyond this chess upgrade, the trait has a light footprint in the game files. It grants no always-on moodlets, no unique moodlets of its own, and no hidden multipliers. The game files also list 0 interactions that check for this trait, and it provides no career pay bonuses.
Compatibility, ages, and how to get Self-Assured
The Self-Assured trait has no trait conflicts in the game files. You can combine it with any other personality traits you like in Create a Sim. It suits human Sims of the Child, Teen, Young Adult, Adult, and Elder ages.
No in-game interactions award this trait during play, so you must select it in Create a Sim or use cheats. To add it in Live mode, open the cheat console and enter traits.equip_trait trait_SelfAssured. To remove it, enter traits.remove_trait trait_SelfAssured, and neither cheat needs testing cheats enabled.
