Moodlet replacements and effects in play

An Independent Toddler gets Angry instead of Sad from several moodlets. The Needs Amusement and Where is Everyone? moodlets give an Angry weight of 1 instead of Sad. Desperate for Fun gives an Angry weight of 3 instead of Sad, while All Alone? becomes an Angry moodlet with a weight of 3.

This trait also gives 1 unique moodlet called On My Own. This moodlet adds a Happy weight of 1 and has no timer, so it lasts while its cause lasts.

The Independent trait has no hidden multipliers or career pay bonuses. In addition, 0 interactions check for this trait, and no interactions give it during play.

How to get or remove the Independent trait

Only human Sims in the Toddler age group can have the Independent trait. It suits players who prefer the On My Own Happy moodlet and want Angry moodlets to replace certain Sad ones. The trait conflicts with no other traits in the game.

You can select the Independent trait in Create a Sim when making or editing a Toddler. You can also add or remove it in Live mode using the cheat console.

Open the console with Ctrl + Shift + C on PC or Cmd + Shift + C on Mac. Type traits.equip_trait trait_Toddler_Independent to add it, or traits.remove_trait trait_Toddler_Independent to remove it. These cheats do not need testingcheats true.
