How the Loner trait changes gameplay

Loner Sims get 2 unique moodlets without timers, which means the moodlets last while their cause lasts. Enjoying Solitude gives a Happy weight of 1, and Stranger Danger gives a Tense weight of 1. The trait also unlocks 2 interactions that check for it, Argue about Social Anxiety and Troll teh Forums.

This trait blocks the usual Lonely moodlet and replaces the Desolate moodlet with a Sad weight of 1 instead of 3. It turns the Confident moodlet Among Friends into a Fine moodlet with a weight of 1 for 2 hours. It also replaces Network Slipping and Network Crashing with a Fine moodlet called Ignoring My Network.

You can give the Loner trait to human Sims from the Child stage through the Elder stage. You cannot combine it with the Outgoing, Insider, or Lovebug traits. The trait does not provide any career pay bonuses.
