How the Outgoing trait changes moodlets and needs
When an Outgoing Sim gets the Pleasant Conversation moodlet, it gives a Happy weight of 2 instead of 1. That stronger weight pulls your Sim toward a Happy mood more easily while the moodlet's cause lasts. Two interactions check for this trait: Argue about Social Anxiety and Discuss Celebrations.
Your Sim's Social need drains ×1.1 as fast as usual. The trait also replaces the weight 1 Lonely moodlet with the weight 2 Very Lonely Sad moodlet. In addition, it replaces the Desolate moodlet with the Abandoned moodlet, though both have a Sad weight of 3.
Conflicts and how to get the Outgoing trait
You cannot combine Outgoing with Loner, Paranoid, Romantically Reserved, Grouch, or Socially Awkward. You can pick the trait in Create a Sim if your Sim does not have those conflicting traits. Sims can also gain it in play through the Ask about Lighthouse Letter interaction or Cloning.
You can add or remove the trait in Live mode using the cheat console. Press Ctrl + Shift + C on PC or Cmd + Shift + C on Mac to open the box. Type traits.equip_trait trait_Outgoing to add it, or traits.remove_trait trait_Outgoing to remove it, without needing testing cheats.
