The main benefit of the Overachiever trait is faster learning. Your Sim gets a 1.75 multiplier on skill gain for all skills. This hidden multiplier combines with other active skill effects in the game.

This trait also adds 12 unique moodlets that each last 4 hours in Sim time. The strongest is Another Perfection For My Repertoire, which gives an Energized weight of 3. Can't Focus on Every Task gives an Angry weight of 2.

The other moodlets have a weight of 1 and pull your Sim toward Energized, Happy, Focused, Inspired, Tense, Uncomfortable, or Angry. The emotion with the largest total weight becomes your Sim's current mood. The trait does not grant any career pay bonuses.

Human Sims can have this trait at the Teen, Young Adult, Adult, and Elder ages. It conflicts with the Lazy trait, so a Sim cannot have both at the same time.
