How the Snob trait changes moodlets and interactions
Snob Sims experience weaker emotional pulls from several replaced moodlets. The trait blocks the standard Decorated moodlet completely, and turns Nicely Decorated into a weight 1 Happy moodlet. Instead of the weight 3 Happy moodlet from Beautifully Decorated, Snob Sims get a weight 1 Inspired moodlet.
This trait also introduces 2 unique moodlets of its own. Snobbily Surrounded gives a weight 1 Confident boost with no timer, lasting while its cause lasts. Not Enough Culture gives a weight 1 Tense moodlet that lasts 2 hours in Sim time.
The Snob trait adds no hidden multipliers or career pay bonuses. However, 4 interactions check for this trait: Argue about Humor, Critique Work, Scoff At, and Troll teh Forums.
Trait conflicts, eligible Sims, and cheats
You can give the Snob trait to human Sims from the Teen stage through the Elder stage. It conflicts with the Childish, Goofball, Freegan, and Wise traits. You cannot pick Snob if your Sim already has one of those conflicting traits.
