What the Squeamish trait changes in play
Squeamish Sims react poorly to dirty rooms. When other Sims get Unpleasant Surroundings or Bad Surroundings, Squeamish Sims get Icky Surroundings instead. This replacement moodlet pushes the Uncomfortable emotion with a weight of 3, which matches the usual Filthy Surroundings moodlet.
This trait also adds two versions of the Eww, Gross moodlet. Both give an Uncomfortable weight of 1. One version lasts 2 hours in Sim time, and the other stays as long as its cause remains.
Squeamish Sims build the Entomology skill at a ×0.75 rate. The game also checks for this trait on 3 interactions, including Take Deep Breaths and Argue about the Wonders of Nature.
Who it suits, conflicts, and how to get it
This trait suits indoor Sims who avoid bugs and keep their homes clean. You cannot combine Squeamish with Glutton, Slob, Loves Outdoors, or Freegan. If a Sim has one of those traits, the game blocks Squeamish.
You can pick the Squeamish trait in Create a Sim for any eligible human Sim. To add it in Live mode, press Ctrl + Shift + C on PC or Cmd + Shift + C on Mac. Type traits.equip_trait trait_Squeamish into the cheat console, or use traits.remove_trait trait_Squeamish to delete it without enabling testing cheats.
