What the Mystical trait changes in play
The Mystical trait gives your Sim 4 unique moodlets that push toward Inspired, Happy, or Confident emotions. Otherworldly Calling gives an Inspired weight of 2 for 160 Sim minutes, or 2.67 hours. Destined also gives an Inspired weight of 2, and In My Element gives a Happy weight of 2. Both Destined and In My Element have no timer, so they last while their cause lasts.
The fourth moodlet is Aurarific, which adds a Confident weight of 1 for 2.67 hours. The emotion with the largest total weight becomes your Sim's current mood.
This trait has no always-on moodlets, moodlet replacements, or hidden multiplier effects. However, the tests for 2 interactions ask for this trait, sometimes among other traits. Those interactions are Grant Sacred Blessing and Read Aura.
Who gets the Mystical trait and its conflicts
Human Sims can have this trait if they are a Teen, Young Adult, Adult, or Elder. You cannot select the Mystical trait if your Sim already has Skeptical, Disruptive, Chased by Death, or Macabre. These traits conflict with Mystical in the game.
You can pick the Mystical trait in Create a Sim. No in-game interactions give this trait during play, so you must use a cheat to add it later.
To use the cheat in Live mode, open the console with Ctrl + Shift + C on PC or Cmd + Shift + C on Mac. Type traits.equip_trait trait_Mystical to add the trait, or traits.remove_trait trait_Mystical to remove it. You do not need to turn on testing cheats first.
