BitLife hacks that work

BitLife hacks that stay inside the rules: get rich fast, raise Looks and Smarts, avoid jail, and use God Mode. Why hacked apps are a risk.

Lifesim, Inc.

What are the best BitLife hacks?

The best BitLife hacks are tricks inside the game rules. Study hard every school year, use the gym and the library from age 12, buy lottery tickets when you have spare cash, and keep your parents happy. These steps make you rich and raise your stats without any download.

Modded or "hacked" BitLife apps are a different thing. The BitLife terms of service forbid them, and they can carry malware. We do not link to any of them. The section below explains why.

GoalTrick
Get richLottery tickets, an inheritance, happy parents, a will
Raise SmartsStudy harder, library, books, documentaries, the Memory Test
Raise LooksGym, salon and spa, plastic surgery (risky)
Raise any stat fastBoosts, free with an ad or with Bitizenship
Stay out of jailApologize to the police, avoid drugs and drunk driving, take a plea deal
Edit anythingGod Mode, a paid add-on

How do you get rich fast in BitLife?

  • Buy lottery tickets. Gamezebo says a win is much easier in BitLife than in real life. The wiki says you can buy 1 or 10 tickets at a time, and a win gives the Jackpot achievement.
  • Keep your parents happy. Spend time with them. Gamezebo and TheGamer say happy parents help with student loans and can leave you money.
  • Marry an older partner. Gamezebo calls it cold, but it works: you will likely inherit when they die.
  • Start with a small home. You cannot rent out property, so do not take a mortgage that you cannot pay. Sell later if you need cash.
  • Write a will before you die, from the Activities menu. Then continue as your heir. TheGamer says this builds wealth over generations.
  • Watch the estate tax. The wiki lists countries with no death tax, such as Australia, Canada, Sweden, and the United Arab Emirates. The wiki says this list comes partly from players, and it can change.
  • Stay out of prison. TheGamer warns that prison means no income while your bills continue.

How do you raise Looks and Smarts in BitLife?

Smarts

Pick "study harder" in every school year. Gamezebo says this helps you get a scholarship and a better job. The wiki also lists the library, reading books, documentaries (from 18), gardening, and good Memory Test scores. A score above 10 in the Memory Test raises Smarts, and a score below 10 lowers it. The gym, the library, and meditation open at age 12.

Looks

Go to the gym and the salon and spa. Plastic surgery can raise Looks a lot, but a botched surgery lowers them. The wiki says children get an average of the looks and smarts of their two parents. So in a family life, pick a partner with high stats.

Boosts

A Boost raises a stat at once. The wiki lists +30 for Happiness and Health, and +16 for Smarts and Looks. You watch an ad for a Boost, unless you are a Bitizen.

How do you avoid jail in BitLife?

  • If the police come to your party, apologize. The wiki says that if you argue, they search the house and can arrest you. High Smarts lower the chance of trouble.
  • Avoid drug and alcohol addictions. The wiki says an addicted character can drive drunk and get arrested.
  • Do not run from the police. The wiki says you get caught about 90% of the time, and the sentence gets longer.
  • Take a plea deal. If you plead guilty, you can serve less time.
  • Do not sell drugs that you find. The wiki says the chance of arrest is high.

How do you use God Mode and paid features honestly?

God Mode is the official way to "hack" your life. The wiki says it lets you edit the name, looks, and stats of anyone. It is a one-time purchase, not part of Bitizenship. It cannot change your birthday, siblings, or pets. Read BitLife God Mode for the details.

The Time Machine is another paid feature. The wiki says it takes you back up to 8 years, and it can get you out of prison. It can also undo your own death. The wiki warns that if you restart the app right after you use it, the game can undo the trip.

Bitizenship removes ads and adds features. We do not print prices because they change by country. See is BitLife free for the list of purchases.

Are BitLife hacked apps safe?

No. The BitLife terms of service say that you must not create, use, or share cheats, hacks, or tools that change gameplay. They also forbid game files that do not come from Candywriter. They forbid the use of bugs or glitches to avoid payments or to get an advantage, too.

Modded apps also put your phone at risk. In 2024, Kaspersky found the Necro Trojan in modded apps and game mods from unofficial sites. Get BitLife only from the App Store or Google Play. If you want BitLife on a computer, read BitLife on PC. For school devices, read BitLife unblocked.

Want a life sim where people answer you?

If you like BitLife's text life, LifeSim is a free life sim in your browser set on a real map of Earth, where people talk back in your own words. It is English only and has no multiplayer. Compare it in games like BitLife, or read about the life simulator.

Questions

Is there a BitLife hack for unlimited money?

Not a safe one. Tools that promise it break the terms of service. Use the lottery, an inheritance, and a will instead.

Can you get banned for a BitLife hack?

The terms forbid cheats and hacks. Read the terms for what Candywriter can do to your account.

What is the fastest way to raise Looks in BitLife?

A Boost gives +16 at once. The gym and the salon are slower but safe. Surgery is fast but can go wrong.

Do these tricks still work?

They come from the wiki and guides. Game updates can change them, so test them in your own life.
