How to become a vampire in BitLife

How to become a vampire in BitLife with Vampire Mode, what vampires can do, how to become a Vampire Lord, and how to survive Vampire Hunters.

You need Vampire Mode, a paid one-time purchase that BitLife added on October 30, 2025. Buy it, start a new life, and age to 18. Then open Activities and tap Vampire Mode. A vampire offers to bite you, and you rise as a vampire.

  1. Buy Vampire Mode in the shop of the game. BitLife says it works for all your characters.
  2. Start a new life.
  3. Age up to 18. Pro Game Guides says there are no stat requirements.
  4. Open Activities and find Vampire Mode in the Premium section.
  5. Let the vampire bite you. Your character dies and rises as a vampire.

We do not print a price. Prices differ by country, and they can change. Read is BitLife free for the other purchases.

Not as a real vampire. Before Vampire Mode, players followed a fan challenge to play a vampire life. It asked you to live in Romania, reach age 100, own an old haunted house, bite three people, and impale three people. That challenge gives you no vampire powers.

Pro Game Guides says you can buy a Vampire Lair, Estate, Castle, or Keep without the pack. Look for them in the real estate listings under Activities, then Shopping. They usually cost millions.

When you turn, you get one Vampiric Power and one Blood Curse. The power helps you, and the curse is a weakness. Both are hidden until after the bite, so the vampire that you choose does not change them.

FeatureWhat it does
Hunting and feastingDrink blood from people to stay strong
EssenceTake essence from victims to level up your powers
HypnosisMake weak humans do what you want
FamiliarA human servant who brings you prey and does tasks
ProgenyThe people you turn into vampires; you can hunt with them
Blood BanksGet blood when hunting fails
CoffinRest and lie low to lower your notoriety

The features come from the BitLife Vampire Mode page and from Pro Game Guides. Pro Game Guides says vampires get no diseases and do not need human food. As long as you drink blood, you can live for a very long time.

Break your Blood Curse. You get three goals when you turn, and you see them in your Profile in the Vampire menu. The goals are random. One example from Pro Game Guides: drain 15 Straights, convert 5 Librarians, and drain 10 Smarties.

Finish all three goals to become a Vampire Lord. The curse goes away, and the change is permanent. Pro Game Guides says this can take 20 to 80 game years.

The main risk is Vampire Hunters. Biting people, raiding blood banks, and other trouble raise your notoriety. High notoriety brings hunters, and they can attack you when you go out to hunt.

  • Your Vampiric Power affects how well you survive hunter attacks, says BitLife.
  • When you become a Vampire Lord, your notoriety goes up a lot, so more hunters come.
  • If you go without blood for too long, your powers drop and your essence goes down.
  • Killing other vampires, such as your progeny or your maker, also draws hunters.
  • You cannot become a Vampire Hunter yourself, Pro Game Guides says. You only meet them.
  • Use your Familiar for goals. Pick a Familiar who works where your targets are. For Librarians, choose one who works at a library or school.
  • Hunt in places that fit your goals, such as a school, a campsite, or an office.
  • Sleep in your Coffin when your notoriety is high. It lowers your notoriety, so fewer hunters find you.
  • Try to seduce a hunter. It is random, and high looks and charisma help.
  • Use Blood Banks when hunts keep failing. Pro Game Guides says they work more often than a normal hunt.
  • Say no when your Familiar asks to become a vampire. Pro Game Guides says a Familiar stops serving you once you turn them.
  • Use your long life for slow goals, such as becoming a billionaire.

Vampire Mode is new, and BitLife can change it in updates. Check the game if a step looks different.
