What is God Mode in BitLife?
God Mode is a paid add-on that lets you edit almost every part of your BitLife save. You can change the stats of your character, the country of birth, and the social standing. You can also edit the people around you.
Gfinity Esports describes it this way. The App Store page of BitLife lists God Mode among the in-app purchases. We opened both pages on October 4, 2026.
This post explains what God Mode changes, what it cannot change, and how to buy it. It also covers the cheat files that players find online.
What can you edit with God Mode?
Gfinity Esports lists these things.
Your own character
You can edit the stats of your character: looks, intelligence, and health. You can also change the country of birth, and the nationality. The guide says that appearance changes carry into later life.
Social standing
You can choose a higher social standing, including royal families. Gfinity Esports says that this opens elite groups to you.
Careers
Some careers ask for high looks or high intelligence. With God Mode, you raise those stats and enter careers such as modeling and acting. The guide also lists sports skill as an editable stat.
The people around you
You can edit the traits of non-player characters: family, friends, colleagues, and pets.
What can God Mode not change?
Gfinity Esports says that five things stay locked: skin color, the birthday, the contraception method, the color of a pet, and the number of siblings.
So God Mode is not a total reset. It changes a life that exists. It does not change the facts of birth.
Our sources do not say if God Mode changes ribbons or achievements. We did not find an official answer. Do not buy it to earn a ribbon until you read the store page and the in-game text.
How do you buy God Mode?
Open the main menu, then BitLife Essentials, then God Mode. Gfinity Esports gives this path inside the BitLife Marketplace. You pay with an in-app purchase.
The store page lists BitLife as free, with in-app purchases that range from low prices to high prices. It lists God Mode in that group. The App Store, not a guide, shows the price for your country and your device.
We do not print a price. Our two sources gave different numbers, and a price can change. Read is BitLife free for the other purchases, and open the store page for the live number.
Is God Mode a cheat?
Yes, in the sense that it lets you skip the work. No, in the sense that it is a feature that Candywriter sells.
This difference matters. A feature in the store is part of the game. It does not need a download from an other site.
God Mode also serves a player who wants a story with a fixed shape: a certain career, a certain family.
Should you use a God Mode mod file?
We do not recommend it. When we searched for God Mode, several pages offered a modified BitLife file that claims to unlock everything.
These pages are not from Candywriter. We did not open them, and we do not know what is in the files. The official way to get God Mode is the purchase in the app.
A file from an unknown site can contain anything. If you want the features for free, there is a safer way: play a free game that has a different design. See the next section.
What if you want a life with no edits at all?
A life that you can edit has no cost for mistakes. Some players like that. Others want the opposite.
LifeSim is built the other way. You live one life on a real map. You talk to people in your own words, and they remember what you said. There is no menu to change your looks. What you do stays done.
LifeSim does not fit you if you play BitLife for the absurd events in five-minute bursts. Read LifeSim vs BitLife or games like BitLife to compare. LifeSim is free in the browser.
Is God Mode worth it?
Use this rule. Buy God Mode if you have one specific life in mind and the random events keep stopping you.
Do not buy it if you only want a new challenge. The mode removes challenge by design.
Check the store page for the price and the refund rules of your platform before you pay.
