How to pinch someone in BitLife

Pinch is an attack move in BitLife. Where to start a fight, who you can pinch at what age, what happens, and why the option may not show.

How do you pinch someone in BitLife?

Start a fight, choose Attack, and pick Pinch as your move. Pinch is not a button in the relationship menu. It is one of the attack moves that the game offers when you assault someone.

The official BitLife account on X gave the same answer in March 2020: when you attack someone, choose pinch. After you pick the move, you pick a body part as the target.

  1. Get into a fight: a bully at school, an argument, a sibling, a nightclub, or the prison yard.
  2. Choose Attack (or Assault, or Rumble for a sibling).
  3. In the list of moves, tap Pinch.
  4. Pick a target on the body.

Where can you start a fight to pinch someone?

Guides name five places. The table shows each one and the age when it works. Ages come from the BitLife wiki and the guides in the sources.

The wiki says you cannot rumble when one of you is under 18 and the other is 18 or older. You can still fight back if your sibling starts a squabble with you. The argument route needs you and the other person to be in the same country.

Why does the pinch option not show up?

The game does not show every move in every fight. Level Winner and Prima Games both say that Pinch is not always on the list. If it is missing, you need a new fight.

  • You did not choose Attack. Pinch appears only after you choose to fight.
  • The random move list did not include Pinch this time. Try the next fight.
  • The age rules block the fight, such as an adult and a child sibling.
  • You are not at the right place. The nightclub needs age 18.

Level Winner suggests one trick: if Pinch is missing, quit the app, open it again, and try once more. This behavior can change with game updates.

What happens when you pinch someone?

A pinch is an assault, the same as any other attack move. The game shows the damage you did on a bar. The wiki says a person dies if the damage reaches 100%.

The person you pinch can react in several ways:

  • They fight back and hurt you.
  • They call the police, and you can be arrested for assault.
  • At school, you can get a call from the principal, or go to juvenile detention.
  • Your relationship with them goes down.

The prison yard is the riskiest place. Prima Games and The Nerd Stash warn that an inmate in a gang can get other members to attack you, and you can die.

The school bully and the sibling are the safest choices. The Nerd Stash says that these fights have few results, but many fights hurt your relationships with family.

Which BitLife challenge asks you to pinch people?

The Shamrock Challenge, for Saint Patrick's Day in March 2020. It asked for these tasks:

  • Live in Ireland, or move there.
  • Have 7 children with red hair.
  • Pinch 7 people.
  • Own 7 green cars.
  • Watch Jacksepticeye on YouTube with a friend.

The BitLife wiki says that since October 2022, challenges that you did not finish go into a challenge vault that you pay to open. Read BitLife challenges for the other challenges.

We found no other challenge that asks for pinches. Candywriter can add one at any time, so check the challenge text in the game.

The wiki says Martial Arts lessons, in Mind and Body, unlock new attack moves. Our sources do not say if they make Pinch appear more often.

Can God Mode help with the Shamrock Challenge?
