The Sims 4 Enchanted by Nature guide: fairies

Enchanted by Nature is an expansion pack for The Sims 4. It adds playable fairies, the world of Innisgreen, and new systems for balance, luck and plants. EA released it on July 10, 2025, at $39.99.

EA lists these platforms: the EA app, Epic Games Store, Steam, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. Sims Community gives the release time as 10 AM PDT, 6 PM BST and 7 PM CET.

Is there a bonus for early buyers?

Not now. Buyers before August 21, 2025, got the Fairy Garden bonus. EA names three items in it: the Lofty Leaf Pond, the Mycena Lantern and the Disguised Dwelling Fairy Home. That offer ended.

Which pack is it in the list?

It is a full expansion pack, so it has the same price as the other big packs. To compare it with them, read the Sims 4 expansion pack list.

The world is Innisgreen. EA calls it “a beautifully lush and wonderful land where Sims and nature live in perfect (or chaotic) harmony.” It has three neighborhoods.

Gaming Trend writes that “Innisgreen feels massive and full to the brim with life.” The world also has two places for luck. Sims Community names the Spruce Almighty in Sprucederry Grove and the Great Gnome statue on the Coast of Adhmor.

You have two ways. Make a fairy in Create a Sim, or turn a Sim into a fairy in the game. The game way needs a Fairy Seedling, Mother Nature and a bath in Moondrop Springs.

Make a fairy in Create a Sim

Click the pink person icon above the traits. Destructoid says that the label reads “Pick an occult!” Select Fairy. Then change the wings and the fairy form before you leave Create a Sim.

EA lists the new fairy looks: 9 skin tones, 18 eye colors, 3 pointed ears, 3 noses and 2 sets of teeth. Fairies also get tattoos that glow at night.

Get a Fairy Seedling

Destructoid and KeenGamer list four ways to get the seedling:

• Talk to a fairy and ask for a Fairy Seedling. Try more than one fairy.
• Order one on a computer. Only one seedling at a time is possible.
• Forage on dirt, sand or grass. KeenGamer says that Good Luck helps.
• Complete Fables on the Fable board. Some Fables give a seedling.

The guides do not agree on the price. Destructoid says 758 Simoleons. KeenGamer says 379 Simoleons. Check the price in your game.

Plant the seedling and meet Mother Nature

Plant the seedling in the ground, in a Garden Pot or in a Planter Box. KeenGamer says that you cannot plant it from the inventory. Mother Nature then comes to your Sim. Ask her for her charm. She gives your Sim a potion that lasts 24 hours.

Bathe in Moondrop Springs

Go to Moondrop Springs in Everdew before the potion ends. Destructoid says that the pool is near the fairy bar lot. Click the water and select “Become a Fairy”. After the change, you can open Create a Sim to edit the wings.

Which ages can become a fairy?

KeenGamer says that only Sims who are “Teen or older” can become fairies in the game. We found no source today that gives the rules for children in Create a Sim.

Fairies have powers for nature, emotion and manipulation. They can sway moods, put emotions in bottles, grow plants fast and bring gnomes to life. New powers open as the fairy goes up in rank.

What are the fairy ranks?

Sims Community lists five ranks: Faint, Glowing, Glimmering, Brilliant and Radiant. A fairy gets XP from its powers, from plants and from spells on other Sims. It spends the XP on new abilities.

Which abilities open at each rank?

Each rank also has a pair of passive abilities. You pick one of the two. An example is Warm Force Gain or Wicked Force Gain at rank 1.

What is the difference between Harmonious and Discordant fairies?

These are the two fairy paths. EA says that the Harmonious path “is for Fairies with nurturing souls.” They grow gardens and wake gnomes to help at home. The Discordant path is for fairies who “stir up a little mischief.” They change moods and give Ailments to other Sims.

Can fairies help other occult Sims?

Yes, with other packs. EA says that fairies can calm werewolves and remove vampirism. With Island Living, they can give water to mermaids and PlantSims. Read our guides to werewolves, vampires and mermaids.

Do fairies have a tiny home?

Yes. EA says that fairies shrink to a small size to go into their fairy home. A fairy can also refill its Emotional Force there, as Sims Community says.

The main weakness is Emotional Force. A fairy needs it to live. If it runs out, the fairy can die. EA says: “Rather than living off food, Fairies absorb emotions to survive.”

Do fairies need to eat?

No. KeenGamer says that fairies lose the Hunger and Bladder needs. They get the Emotional Force need in place of them. If the fairy becomes a normal Sim again, Hunger and Bladder come back.

How does a fairy refill Emotional Force?

Sims Community names three ways. Use the bottle and absorb abilities on emotions. Sleep, if you picked the right passive ability. Rest in a fairy house. EA adds that a fairy can drink a bottled emotion potion.

Yes, but there is no cheat that turns a Sim into a fairy. Dexerto says this. Use cas.fulleditmode and change the occult in Create a Sim. Fairy rank cheats do exist.

First, open the cheat box. On PC, press Ctrl + Shift + C. On Mac, press Cmd + Shift + C. On a console, press all four shoulder buttons. Type testingcheats on.

How do you make a Sim a fairy with cheats?

Type cas.fulleditmode on. Then shift-click the Sim and select “Modify in CAS”. Change the occult of the Sim to Fairy.

What is the fairy rank cheat?

Type stats.set_stat rankedStatistic_FairyOccult_FairyXP X. Put a number in place of X. Destructoid lists these numbers:

Which other cheats does the pack have?

• stats.set_skill_level major_apothecary X: set the Apothecary skill, 1 to 10.
• stats.set_skill_level skill_NLS X: set the Natural Living skill, 1 to 10.
• careers.promote Naturopath: promote your Sim in the Naturopath career.
• traits.equip_trait DarkPath_DarkPixie: add the Delightfully Discordant reward trait.

Every Sim now has a balance and a luck. A bad mood for a long time makes a Sim imbalanced. Imbalance can bring bad luck and Ailments. A good mood brings the Sim back to balance.

What does imbalance do?

Sims Community lists three tiers: Balanced, Imbalanced and Very Imbalanced. An imbalanced Sim has needs that drain 25% faster. It also learns skills 15% slower. A death in the family or the loss of a job can make a Sim imbalanced at once.

How do you get balance back?

• Call a Naturopath from the Home tab of the phone.
• Meditate in nature. This needs the Natural Living skill.
• Make and drink Apothecary Elixirs.
• Take care of your houseplants.
• Cure your Ailments.

What are Ailments?

Ailments are new illnesses for very imbalanced Sims. EA names four: Greenie Meanie, Emotional Void, Simoleon Fever and Sonic Sinuses. Greenie Meanie makes gardening faster, but the Sim is always angry. An Ailment Cure or a Naturopath removes them.

Many players asked for a way to turn Ailments off. KeenGamer says that a free patch on July 29, 2025, reduced Ailments by 75%. Destructoid points to the option “Enable Balance & Imbalance” under Settings and Pack Settings.

What does luck do?

Sims Community says that Good Luck makes all skills 10% faster. Bad Luck makes skills 10% slower and takes 30 quality points off crafted items. Luck resets at 2 AM each day.

What is the Natural Living skill?

Natural Living lets a Sim live off the land. EA says that a Sim can eat, bathe and sleep outside. A Sim can fish, sleep in the grass and summon a Privy Bush. The Nature Nomad aspiration goes with this skill.

What is the Apothecary Table?

The Apothecary Table makes remedies, cures, elixirs and luck charms. EA names two main ingredients: Lightning Root and Aura Blossom. Get them from the garden or by foraging. The Elixir Enthusiast aspiration goes with it.

What is the Naturopath career?

The Naturopath cures other Sims of Ailments. The Apothecary skill is important for this job. Gaming Trend says that the work becomes repetitive. For other jobs, read the career cheats.

Do houseplants and gnomes do anything?

Yes. EA says that houseplants now need water and care. A Sim who is not a fairy can use Fairy Dust to bring gnomes to life. A gnome then helps with jobs in the house.

Buy it if you want fairies or nature builds. Wait for a sale if you do not care about fairies. Gaming Trend gives it 70 out of 100 and says: “It’s good, but not amazing.”

What do players like?

Sims Community says that builders like the fairy cottages and the hobbit holes. Players of the Rags to Riches challenge like Natural Living. Gaming Trend says that the fairies are the focus, with “No corners cut” in comparison to Mermaids.

What do players dislike?

Sims Community lists three complaints. Some players think the pack is “lacklustre”, mainly in Create a Sim. Some think the game becomes too easy, because fairies have fewer needs. Players also reported bugs after the release.

LifeSim does not fit if you want fairies. It is not a Sims pack, and it has no packs. It has no fairies, no occults, no magic and no build catalog. For fairies, stay with this pack.

Can a fairy die in Sims 4?

Yes. A fairy can die if its Emotional Force runs out. Sims Community says this. Keep the need high with the absorb abilities or rest in a fairy home.

Can fairies have WooHoo?

EA says yes. Fairies get a special Fairy WooHoo.
