Which Sims 4 pack has aliens?

The Get to Work expansion pack adds aliens. The base game has no aliens. Get to Work also adds the secret alien lot of Sixam.

Wikipedia says that Get to Work came out in North America on March 31, 2015. It was the first expansion pack for The Sims 4. Aliens were the first occult life state in the game. The pack also adds the Detective, Doctor, and Scientist careers and retail shops.

How do you become an alien in The Sims 4?

Make an alien in Create a Sim, or use a cheat. You cannot turn a normal Sim into an alien in normal play. Snooty Sims says this, and it makes aliens different from vampires and werewolves.

Your other ways to get an alien are a baby or a new family member.

How do you make an alien in Create a Sim?

Start a new household in Create a Sim. Choose to add an occult Sim, then select the alien. Wikipedia says that the alien skin tones are blue, green, and purple.

You also design a disguise in Create a Sim. The disguise is the human look of the alien. The next section explains how it works.

How do you turn an existing Sim into an alien?

Use the cheat traits.equip_trait trait_OccultAlien. The cheat section below gives the steps. Snooty Sims says that the Sim then shows alien interactions with an alien head symbol.

How do you add an alien to your family?

Snooty Sims gives one more way. Turn on cheats. Then press Shift and click an alien that you meet, for example on Sixam. Choose “Add to Family.”

How do you get an alien baby?

Get a male Sim abducted, or have two aliens try for a baby. The abduction section below gives the chance and the steps. For pregnancy in general, read how to have a baby in The Sims 4.

How does the alien disguise work in The Sims 4?

Every alien has a disguise. In the disguise, the alien looks like a normal Sim. Regular Sims do not know that it is an alien. They find out only if the alien uses a power that shows its secret.

  • Click the alien and choose “Disguise Self” to put on the human look.
  • Choose “Remove Disguise” to show the alien form again.
  • Choose “Alter Disguise” to change the human look in Create a Sim.

Pleasant Sims says that the disguise is optional. But some Sims react badly to an alien without a disguise.

How do you spot an alien in disguise?

Watch for a glow. Sims Community says that a disguised alien glows a little in a strong emotion, such as “Very Happy.” It also says that some townies are aliens in disguise.

What powers do Sims 4 aliens have?

Aliens have a small set of social powers. Most of them use Brain Power. After a power, a cooldown starts. Pleasant Sims says that the cooldown is 2 to 4 hours.

The power names come from Pleasant Sims and Sims Community. Erase Memory shows up only after a Sim finds out that your Sim is an alien.

What is Brain Power?

Brain Power is not a need like Hunger. Pleasant Sims says that a power gives a “Low Brain Power” moodlet for 2 hours. The moodlet does not tell you when the powers come back. Wait for the cooldown to end.

What can an alien talk about?

Aliens get extra Friendly socials. Examples are Discuss Human Foods and Discuss Weird Atmospheric Pressure. These socials show up only with Sims who know the secret. They do not change the game.

How do you get abducted by aliens in The Sims 4?

Join the Scientist career and use the Satellite Dish to contact aliens. Then send your Sim outside at night. An abduction can happen only between 10 PM and 4 AM. No method gives a sure abduction without cheats.

Pleasant Sims, Destructoid, and KeenGamer give the 10 PM to 4 AM window. Sims Community gives 9 PM to 5 AM. Use the shorter window to be safe.

What raises the chance of an abduction?

  1. Join the Scientist career from Get to Work.
  2. At Scientist level 4, build the Satellite Dish. Place it outside.
  3. Choose “Contact Aliens” on the dish. You can use it once every 24 hours.
  4. At Logic level 7, choose “Search for the Truth” on the observatory telescope.
  5. Go outside between 10 PM and 4 AM. Repeat each night.

Pleasant Sims says that the Out of This World computer, a Scientist level 10 reward, works like the dish. Destructoid lists Logic level 4 for the dish, not Scientist level 4. The other guides say Scientist level 4. KeenGamer says that Sims with the Genius trait have a higher chance.

What happens during an abduction?

Your Sim goes outside to “investigate weird light.” Pleasant Sims says that green lights pull the Sim in. After that, you cannot cancel it. The Sim comes back about two hours later, to the same spot.

Sims Community says that a Sim with the Geek trait gets a happy moodlet after it. Most Sims come back dazed but fine.

How do you stop alien abductions?

Use the Satellite Dish and choose the option that prevents abductions on your lot. You can also lock the doors at night. Pleasant Sims gives both fixes.

How does alien pregnancy work in The Sims 4?

A male Sim can come back from an abduction pregnant. Snooty Sims, Destructoid, and Pleasant Sims all give a 25% chance for each abduction. Female Sims come back with only a moodlet.

Your Sim cannot take a pregnancy test. Look for the “weird tummy ache” moodlet after the return. Sims Community says that two “Uncomfortable” moodlets come next. The baby then arrives in the normal way.

Do you want a sure result? Save before your Sim walks to the lights. Pleasant Sims says to load the save and try again if the Sim does not come back pregnant.

Can female Sims get pregnant from an abduction?

Not in the normal game. Pleasant Sims says that you need a mod. The MC Command Center mod has a setting for it.

What happens to a baby with an alien parent?

Two aliens give an alien child. An abduction also gives an alien child. An alien and a normal Sim give a hybrid. Sims Community says that a hybrid has alien skin and normal eyes. A hybrid cannot use a disguise and has no alien socials.

Can you send an alien baby back to Sixam?

Yes. Click the bassinet and choose “Send to Homeworld.” KeenGamer says that you cannot get the baby back after that.

How do you get to Sixam in The Sims 4?

Use a wormhole. The Scientist path and the rocket path both give one. Sixam is a secret lot, not a full world. Its name is “Maxis” spelled backward.

How do you get to Sixam with the Scientist career?

Sims Community gives these steps. At Scientist level 6, invent the Electroflux Wormhole Generator. You need metals, crystals, and elements for it. Then reach career level 10, and upgrade the generator at the invention station.

How do you get to Sixam with a rocket?

Sims Community gives the costs. Place the rocket pad for 4,000 Simoleons and build the ship for 1,000. Raise the Rocket Science skill to level 10. Then add a Wormhole Generator for 1,000. The total is 6,000 Simoleons at least.

What is on Sixam?

Sixam has aliens, glowing plants, and collectibles. Sims Community lists harvestables, geodes, and small alien figures. It says that aliens spawn at the far corners. Wait a while for them.

Sims Community also says that a trip adds 15 to 20 aliens to the population of your save. You cannot live on Sixam.

What are the Sims 4 alien cheats?

Open the cheat console and type testingcheats true. Then type one of the cheats below. EA gives these keys to open the console:

  • PC and Mac: Control + Shift + C.
  • PlayStation and Xbox: hold all four shoulder buttons at the same time.

EA warns that some cheats on a console turn off Achievements and Trophies for that save. Your other saves stay the same.

The cheats come from Snooty Sims and Pleasant Sims. For a fast abduction, Pleasant Sims says to type the cooldown cheat first, then the abduction cheat. It also says to place a Satellite Dish and choose “Contact Aliens” first.
