Baking skill

Your Sim needs 100 skill points to reach level 1. Going from level 1 to level 2 takes 1,440 points, and reaching level 3 takes another 2,160 points. The point cost goes up with each level.

The point jumps grow much larger in the second half of the skill. Moving from level 6 to level 7 requires 10,140 points, which brings your running total to 29,920 points. The final jump from level 9 to level 10 asks for 21,120 points, for a total of 81,580 points.

Emotions change how fast your Sim gains Baking skill points. Being Very Inspired gives a 1.6 multiplier, Inspired gives a 1.4 multiplier, and Sad gives a 1.2 multiplier. Avoid practicing while Angry, Very Angry, or Enraged, because those emotions drop your gain multiplier to 0.8, 0.6, and 0.4.

Specific moodlets speed up your progress even more because active multipliers multiply together. The Artistic Endeavors and Farm to Table moodlets each multiply your skill gains by 3, while Creative Spark multiplies gains by 2.5. General skill boosts like Snaggle Flustered multiply gains by 4, and Parental Guidance multiplies gains by 3.

Level 3 unlocks 15 recipes, such as Blueberry Bagels and Fruit Muffins, along with the Decorate interaction. Later levels unlock complex dishes like Carrot Cake at level 5, Croissant at level 7, and Berry Macaroons at level 9. At level 10, your Sim learns 6 final recipes, including Alien Fruit Tart, Cowplant Essence Meringue Pie, and Eclair.
