How the Rock Climbing skill points grow

Every level of the Rock Climbing skill requires more points than the level before it. You only need 100 points to reach level 1, and another 1,440 points to reach level 2. By level 5, your Sim needs 5,280 points from the previous level, for a running total of 12,580 points.

The biggest point jumps happen in the second half of the skill. Moving from level 6 to level 7 takes 10,140 points, which is a large increase over earlier levels. Reaching level 10 requires 21,120 points from level 9, bringing the total to 81,580 points.

Fastest ways to level up Rock Climbing

Rock Climbing has no standard emotion boosts in the game files, so you must use traits and moodlets instead. Active traits and moodlets multiply your skill gains, and several multipliers can work together at the same time. For example, the Competitive trait gives a 1.5 multiplier, while Strong Physical Affinity gives a 1.4 multiplier.
