Your Sim needs only 100 skill points to reach level 1, which unlocks the Swedish massage. The requirement jumps to 1,440 additional points for level 2, bringing the running total to 1,540 points.

The point cost increases steadily through the middle tiers. Moving from level 4 to level 5 takes 5,280 points, and reaching level 7 requires 10,140 points from the level before.

The highest levels require the most effort. Going from level 9 to level 10 takes 21,120 points, which brings the cumulative total to 81,580 points to finish the skill.

Your Sim builds the Wellness skill fastest while Focused, which applies a 1.4 gain multiplier. Being Very Focused raises that multiplier to 1.6.

Avoid practicing while your Sim feels negative emotions because they slow down progress. Angry and Sad apply a 0.8 multiplier, Very Angry and Very Sad drop it to 0.6, and Enraged lowers it to 0.4.

You can combine several traits and moodlets because their multipliers stack together. The Generous trait adds a 1.5 multiplier, Strong Mental Affinity adds 1.4, and the Omega Brain Boost moodlet multiplies gain by 2. General skill boosts like Snaggle Flustered multiply points by 4, while Parental Guidance multiplies them by 3.

Early levels unlock the Boat Pose at level 2 and aromatherapy massages using lavender or lotus blossom at level 3. By level 5, your Sim can levitate, do the Warrior Pose, and give a deep tissue massage.

At level 6, your Sim can offer a manicure or pedicure and give a sports massage. Level 7 unlocks the ability to teleport, level 8 adds the stone massage, level 9 unlocks the fertility massage, and level 10 lets you share detox secrets.
