Snowboarding skill

Your Sim unlocks level 1 after earning the first 100 skill points. Reaching level 2 requires 1,440 more points, which brings your total to 1,540 points. Each level after that asks for more points than the previous one.

The point requirements grow much larger in the middle and high levels. Going from level 6 to level 7 takes 10,140 points, passing 29,920 total points. Reaching level 10 takes 21,120 points from level 9, for a grand total of 81,580 points.

Emotions change how fast your Sim gains Snowboarding skill points. Being Energized multiplies your skill gain by 1.4, and being Very Energized multiplies it by 1.6. Avoid practicing while Sad or Very Sad, because those emotions drop your multiplier to 0.8 and 0.6.

Specific moodlets also boost your training speed and multiply together with emotions. The Athletic Pick Me Up moodlet gives a 2 multiplier, while Prepared for Snowboarding gives 1.75. You also get a 1.5 multiplier from Active Boost, Dark Chicken, Dedication, Midnight Meal, or Perfected.

General skill boosts work on Snowboarding too. Snaggle Flustered multiplies skill gain by 4. Parental Guidance and Skilling on Up both multiply your points gained by 3.

Early levels unlock interactions like Revoke Snow Bro at level 2 and Go Snowboarding at level 3. At level 5, your Sim can use Mock Skiing, and level 6 unlocks Endure the Burn. The highest levels unlock Brag about Shredding at 7, Chat about Rad Slope at 9, and Provide Snowboarding Tips at 10.

You can skip the training and max out the skill with a cheat in Live mode. Press Ctrl + Shift + C on PC or Cmd + Shift + C on Mac to open the console. Type testingcheats true, then enter stats.set_skill_level statistic_Skill_AdultMajor_Snowboarding 10 to reach level 10.
