Papercraft cheat

Type testingcheats true first, then the line below. Change the last number to set a lower level.

  • stats.set_skill_level statistic_Skill_AdultMajor_Papercraft 10

More about this cheat: stats.set_skill_level.

How the Papercraft skill points grow per level

You only need 100 skill points to reach level 1, and another 1,440 points to reach level 2. The points needed for each new level grow steadily from there. Reaching level 5 takes 5,280 points from level 4, for a running total of 12,580 points.

The largest point jumps happen in the second half of the skill. Moving from level 6 to level 7 requires 10,140 points, which is the first five-figure requirement. Reaching level 10 takes 21,120 points from level 9, bringing the total needed to master the skill to 81,580 points.

Emotions and moodlets that speed up Papercraft

Your Sim's current emotion changes how fast you earn Papercraft skill points. Being Very Inspired gives a 1.6 multiplier, Inspired gives a 1.4 multiplier, and Sad gives a 1.2 multiplier. Avoid crafting while angry, because Angry drops your multiplier to 0.8, Very Angry drops it to 0.6, and Enraged drops it to 0.4.

Specific moodlets also multiply your skill gains, and active multipliers stack together. The Artistic Endeavors moodlet multiplies gains by 3, Creative Spark multiplies them by 2.5, and Fluttering Bliss multiplies them by 2. Moodlets like Crafty Memories, Creative Boost, and Dedication each give a 1.5 multiplier. General skill boosts also work here, such as Snaggle Flustered with a 4 multiplier, or Parental Guidance with a 3 multiplier.

High level Papercraft unlocks and skill cheat

Mid and high levels unlock the largest batches of recipes and specific paper creations. Level 6 unlocks the most recipes at once with 17 items, along with the Llama and Love Card interactions. At levels 7 through 9, you unlock interactions for Crane, Jellyfish, Themed Cards, and Wall-Mounted Head. Reaching level 10 unlocks 8 final recipes and the interactions for Totally Realistic Critter and Declare Most Epic Papercraft.

If you want to skip the point grind, you can set the skill level with a cheat in Live mode. Open the cheat console by pressing Ctrl + Shift + C on PC, or Cmd + Shift + C on Mac. Type testingcheats true and press Enter, then enter stats.set_skill_level statistic_Skill_AdultMajor_Papercraft 10 to reach the maximum level right away.
